The Tygart Hotel values your privacy. We want you to be confident in using this site to make your online reservations. We are very much aware of your concerns about the privacy of your information, and we have no desire or intent to infringe on your privacy.

*When you provide your personal information, such as name, address, email address, and telephone number, we will not give or sell this information to any outside company for any use except through Choice Hotels. At any time, you may review, correct, modify, and/or delete your information that we hold. This information you provide will be kept confidential and will be used only to support your customer relationship with us. We have appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information we have collected from you at our site.

All of the information contained in this website, including the site design, graphics, and text are the copyrighted property of Taylor Hospitality Management. Any other trademarks, company names, product names, and/or logos set forth in this website are the property of their respective owners.

*The Tygart Hotel proprietary property management system is through Choice Hotels. Your personal information related to your reservation will be transmitted to and processed by Choice.

By submitting your personal information to us, you agree to the transfer to and processing of your personal information in the United States in accordance with the terms of this Policy.

TYGART HOTEL POLICIES

Thank you for following our policies:

PAYMENT, EARLY DEPARTURE, & CANCELLATION

Your reservation is guaranteed by the credit card provided at time of booking. 100% of the first night will be charged any time after booking. All hotel room reservations have a 48-hour cancellation policy unless otherwise noted.  Any changes to your reservation must be done by 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), 48 hours prior to your arrival date.  Reservations that are not canceled by 6:00 p.m. (EST), 48 hours prior to arrival are subject to a charge of one (1) night’s stay plus taxes. Guests who are no-shows and have not cancelled their reservation in advance will be charged the full amount of the booked reservation.

CHECKING IN

Guest on the reservation must be 21 years old with a valid photo identification. Acceptable forms of I.D. include a valid driver’s license, passport, and proof of age card. Guests are required to furnish their vehicle and license plate information to the front desk.

Check-in time is any time after 3:00 p.m. (EST). If you arrive earlier than 3:00 p.m. (EST) then we will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready. The Tygart Hotel will make every effort to honor special requests, such as a specific floor or room number, upon your arrival. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance. The hotel reserves all rights to refuse service to any guests of the hotel who do not follow or comply with Tygart Hotel policies.

 

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

A valid credit card and valid picture I.D. of the guest making the reservation are required upon check-in. The card will be authorized at check-in for the estimated amount of your entire stay. A deposit of incidental charges will also be taken. It may take 3 business days, or longer, after check-in for your bank to release the credit hold on your account. The Tygart Hotel is not responsible for overdraft charges incurred due to the hold.

 

DEBIT CARD PAYMENT

If you choose to use your debit card at check-in the hotel will place a hold of the full anticipated dollar amount of your stay through your departure date, as well as an estimated hold for incidentals. Remaining funds due back to your debited account will be released upon check-out, which may take 3-5 business days to process. Additionally, your financial institution may have a contracted amount of time before the funds are released back to you.  The Tygart Hotel is not responsible for overdraft charges incurred due to the hold. A valid picture I.D. of the guest making the reservation is required upon check-in.

CASH PAYMENT

You may pay with cash upon check out. We require a credit card or debit at the time of check in to be authorized for the entire stay.

ROOM CAPACITY

Maximum sleeping capacity in a room varies from two (2) to four (4) persons, depending on the type of room booked. 

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all public areas of the hotel and in all rooms (a $250.00 fine will be applied for smoking in a non-smoking room). Smoking and vaping are allowed outside only.

PET POLICY

A fee of $75.00 is charged per stay for reservations less than four nights. For stays of five nights or more, the fee is 125.00. This fee is non-refundable. A maximum of two pets are allowed per room. 

NOISE POLICY

Quiet time is 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. Please be aware of loud or excessive music, TV volume, loud conversations or any other noises that could disturb other guests.  Do not leave your door ajar. Guests will be asked to leave if staff has to issue two or more warnings due to complaints by other guests.

GENERAL POLICIES

The Tygart Hotel has the right to refuse service or accommodations in the hotel and may remove a person or persons who: appear intoxicated or under the influence of an illegal substance, destroys or threatens to hotel property or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for their accommodations. A person or persons who negligently or intentionally causes damages resulting in the establishment’s loss of revenue resulting in the inability to rent room(s) will be liable for reimbursement of the hotel’s loss income while the damage is being repaired.

CHECKING OUT

Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. (EST). If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 10:00 a.m. (EST) on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply, depending on availability. Anyone staying after 11:00 a.m. (EST) without prior approval will be charged a half day.
